Video Tutorial for the New users

 How do I mark events as conversion?

  • Click “Save Changes” after selecting your event options to enable the events. You will now see new events displayed in your Google Analytics – Realtime.
  • Sign in to Analytics if you are not already signed in.
  • To mark the events as conversion: go to All events > turn on the events you wanted to mark as conversion.
  • Please keep in mind that it might take up to 48 hours for Google Analytics to fully integrate the event settings.
  • In the meantime, you can check the current events on Google Analytics’ Realtime page.
  • To check the events and user engagement: go to Engagement > Events or Overview.
  • To check the details about Ecommerce: go to Monetization > Ecommerce Purchases or Overview.

Text Tutorial for the New users

Create an account

  • Click Start measuring
  • Enter an account name Configure the data-sharing settings to control which data you share with Google
  • Click Next to add the first property to the account

To add a property

  • Enter a name for the property
  • Select the reporting time zone
  • Choose a time zone
  • Select the currency you are using for your Shopify store

Provide information about your business

  • Select an industry category, business size, and indicate the ways you use Analytics
  • Click Create Accept the Analytics Terms of Service and the Data Processing Amendment
  • Your next step is to add one or more data streams

Add data streams

  • Click Admin
  • Look at the Property column to make sure that you have your desired property selected
    In the Property column, click Data Streams
  • Click Add stream, then click Web
    Enter the URL of your primary website, e.g., “example.com”, and a Stream name, e.g. “Example, Inc. (webstream)”
  • Click Create stream.
  • Copy your Measurement Id (Your G- ID appears in the upper right portion of the panel)
